Set Up ClanHQ From Start to Finish

Follow this checklist from an empty Discord server to a verified, working ClanHQ installation.

Requirements

You need an OSRS clan, administrator access to its Discord server, and permission to install a Discord application. RuneLite members need the ClanHQ plugin from RuneLite Plugin Hub.

Setup steps

  1. Create or connect your clan in ClanHQ.
  2. Run /setup in Discord and complete the private setup wizard.
  3. Choose the channels for announcements, events, logs, and optional Bingo routing.
  4. Review the generated role and command permissions, then publish the configuration.
  5. Install the ClanHQ RuneLite plugin. In Discord, run /plugin pair and enter the one-use code in the plugin configuration.
  6. Run /join for each member, or use the member onboarding guide so they link their own RSN.
  7. Open /panel and create the health, events, daily task, and currency panels you want visible.
  8. Verify with /health, /me, and a test daily-task claim.

Verification checklist

  • Clan and Discord are connected
  • Bot responds to /ping
  • RuneLite shows Connection verified
  • Your correct RSN appears in /me
  • Panels render in the selected channels
